From February 14 to February16 all-Russian contest for the best ogganization of student self-governance took place in Rostov-on-Don. Diana Kabardina, a second-year student of PenzGTU became a finalist in nomination «The Best Worksystem with Foreign Students and International Student Cooperation». She presented the international student council of PenzGTU. The contest was held in two stages: correspondence – qualifying and full time – final. The correspondence stage was successful for our contestant and she had the opportunity to represent the community of foreign students of the University in the final. Along with her in this nomination participated other major universities of the country, such as Kazan Federal University, Tomsk National Research Polytechnical University, Tyumen Industrial University and others. During the contest tests it was necessary not only to present the system of work with foreign students as a whole but also individual projects and practices. Diana Kabardina performed praiseworthy and received a certificate of a contestant. Participation in such projects is a great experience for us, as the contest gave us an opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge in the field of international cooperation with the largest universities in the country.
