Wide Maslenitsa was Celebrated in PenzGTU

The third day of Maslenitsa (Pancake Week), called Lakomka (Sweet Tooth Gourmet) was widely celebrated in Penza State Technological University.

March 6, a master class on the preparation of the national Russian dish – pancakes, opened the event. Pancakes with baking, stuffing, milk and sour cream, chocolate pancakes, pancakes with herbs and cheese, the guests of the holiday - secondary school students №66 in Penza learned how to cook. The teachers of the “Food Technologies” Department revealed the production technology and everyone could bake their own pancake. "For us, the main thing was to show the richness of Russian recipes, to surprise with a wide range of seemingly simple dishes and, of course, to please the participants with a delicious treat," stressed the organizers of the master class.

Everyone could taste a wide range of pancakes. The students of the Faculty of Biotechnology and International students were particularly active during the event. They also became participants in traditional sports competitions - tug of war, weight lifting and darts. Especially excitedly students, teachers and guests participated in the first competition. The winner was the "World Team", which included the students of International Faculty.

Alisher Anvarov was the winner in weight lifting, Hushbaht Faiziyev was the second and Maxim Abrosimov was the third. The best in darts became respectively Hassanin Ahmed, Navruz Zabarov and Dmitry Galayev.

Members of the student group “Maximum” set the festive rhythm of the Maslenitsa, and it was possible to keep a bright and cheerful event for a long memory by taking a photo in the atmospheric photo zone.

"The only drawback to this holiday was the weather – it did not allow to hold our event in the fresh air, but we are inviting you to Maslenitsa on March 10 at 3.30 p.m. in the Komsomolsky Park, where the group "Maximum" traditionally organizes festive celebrations," said A. A. Kuzmishkin, the Dean of FBT.
