«I Study in Russia»

November 23, a roleplay «I Study in Russia» took place in PenzGTU with the assistance of Rosmolodezh grant of the project «Active Core Group of PenzGTU Russian and International students». Russian and International students from PenzGTU as well as foreign students from the other universities of Penza participated in the roleplay. The game was based on working in teams, where the participants had a role to play. It was this format that allowed to cover several areas relating to the peculiarities of training of foreigners in a Russian university. Students' interaction – representatives of of different national and academic groups allowed to effectively work out different viewpoints and aspects of the same problem. At the end of the game, the participants analyzed some case situations and found ways to solve them. This format of events has a great practical benefit for the students who study in an international student environment.

November 24, a forum aimed at teambuilding and interaction in groups was organized in PenzGTU building 1.The forum was held during the project «Active Core Group School for Russian and International students of PenzGTU» with the assistance of Rosmolodezh grant. The forum became the biggest in the program of the project. The forum included several stages, with different tasks each.

«The main aim of the project is the support and development of communication skills in the international student environment. In the form of games, meetings, trainings we identify difficult moments and try to find ways to solve them, build cultural exchange and friendly relations between th participants»,- said Nikolay Lyamzin, the Chairman of the Student Council of PenzGTU, the project organizer. Different milti-format stages of the forum revealed the students' leadership qualities, worked out different useful ideas for International student community of PenzGTU. The most active students of the forum were awarded with prizes.
